I had a disappointing experience with the leadership at Lakeside Post Acute. Communication from the Executive Director Daniel P was inconsistent and concerns were not addressed in a timely manner. I brought specific issues and I did not receive clear follow-up or resolution. As a family member, I expected more transparency and accountability. I hope the administration improves responsiveness and prioritizes clearer communication with residents and families.

Five stars isn’t enough! The staff at Lakeside are incredible. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth are unmatched. So grateful for the incredible care they provide.

During the time my uncle was at Lakeside Post I was always at peace knowing that he was very well respected and cared for. They provided excellent medical/wound care and overall living experience. My dad recently had to have a rehab stay and I felt Lakeside would be a great place for rehab. He is getting great PT and overall care. If there have been any issues the staff is attentive and they strive toward excellence. They listen with attentiveness and compassion. I feel they place the needs of their residents in high regard. This includes the receptionist, medical staff, dining staff, transportation staff, pt and ot staff and business manager and social worker. it takes a village and they have a pretty awesome one at LPA:)

As a professional in aging services, I have partnered with Lakeside Post Acute for many clients. Their team works diligently to meet the needs of their residents. Staff are communicative, open to out of the box thinking, and advocate for resident best interest.

This is a horrible place for anyone to be, I went to visit my spouse and the power went out. It was out for 5 hours and there was no backup generators or anything. The receptionist Stephanie makes me feel like I am not welcome there and is always trying to correct everything I do and has even made it to the choice to text the police after searching my bags and making me out to be a criminal because I participate at the harm reduction action center. I am not able to visit my own spouse anymore because the staff made her sign a paper stating that she seen me on camera there selling drugs to other residents..in her own words. It was either that, or she would have to leave immediately. My spouse is paralyzed from the waist down and needs total care. Since this happened to us, our marriage completely fell apart and now we are going through a divorce. She is horrified to contact me because she doesn’t want to be put out on the streets in her condition. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, because it is so devastating.

Poor lack of care from most staff, they rely on certain members to carry the abmismal care of the majority of the staff. I am speaking from direct interactions. The pictures do not reflect the truths that actually happen and where. Their rep stands by a rating that I can not verify. Julie who represents the facility stands vemently behind a 4 star rating that I can not verify anywhere. The best I can come by is a 2.5 star rating and that is still stretching their rating.. I was put in this hell hole at around Christmas time of this year with the wing I was put into with no heat.. They finally got the heat working about a week after I arrived. They used space heaters in the hall ways where their staff worked but left the patients rooms to fend for tthemselves, They finally put a space heater in my room after days of complaining and threats to go public. They prey on the people who are afraid to say something because they are afraid of winding up homeless. Currently my roommate is in extreme pain and that is after the zophran they have given him and he is terrified that if I call the paramedics for him he will wind up homeless. I don’t think I can sit idly by and continue to watch him suffer. I. Will give the medicine a little longer to kick in. DO NOT use or send anyone you care about her. There is no proper meal’s for anyone on a diabetic diet nor a cardiac diet. As stated it is patched together by just a few staff members who actually care, I would give names but I know there would be retaliations. There is so much more and I am willing to tell you. Run as fast as you can from this so called skilled nursing facility. The pictures The y show I have been unable to locate here meaning they are make believe photos. Ask to see A19 and A20, we share all bathroom with two beds in adjoining room I was assaulted by one of the people in that adjoining because the bathroom door was accidentally left locked.

Not proffecianal my mothers ther alot of poor staff just a couple are proffeisional i would never recomend nobody here because they do nor care about patients they are not taking nothing un consideration i have complained about my morher being here and this place needs too b shut down all they do is sedate her in bed no matter how much u complain things dont change thet turn on you and become your enemy because your trying too help them improve in there staff they bring in staff agentsies also very unsanitary staff makes fun of patients and complain its not recommended by me they need more counciling then the patients too b honest do not put your loved ones in this facility unless u do not care about them 💯🙏

My grandmother was in this home after her hip surgery. The staff of nurses were rude and always looked high. I was walking out one day and two CNA were snorting some white substance in the parking lot.They were also talking about the residence and how bad they smelled and they didn’t get paid enough to do the job they do. I’m sorry but if you chose this profession you need to work with sick people and help them shower and keep them clean. My grandma had red marks on her arms and legs every time I would visit and would ask what happened and was told they didn’t know. She informed me that the nurses that clean them up pull them hard and push them. I have reported this to the state since the staff didn’t know what was going on in their own facility. I’m so happy they moved my grandma out. Anyone that could do drugs in a parking lot in their employment and go in and work with the people …can’t be doing their job right and can be abousing the residence. Sad they make all this money and can’t get quality help or do drug test on the employees. Also don’t try to make a complaint here about the staff they stick together and don’t think nothing of the concerns. I hope the state of Colorado follows through with the investigation
